Bernice Watson Obituary

Bernice M. Watson, age 92, of Bellevue, OH passed away June 1, 2022 at The Willows of Bellevue. She was born February 27, 1930 in Sandusky, the daughter of the late Fred A. and Mary M. (Barteldt) Zech.

Bernice was a homemaker. She was an active member at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Bellevue, OH. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, and playing bingo. Bernice loved supporting her favorite teams, especially the Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes Basketball Team.

Bernice is survived by her four children: Tim (Janice) Watson of Bellevue, , Mary Lou (Jerry) Roth of Bellevue, Cindy (Doug) Sandwisch of Middle Bass Island and H. Lee (Connie) Watson of Bellevue; grandchildren: Brad (Brianna) Watson, Curtis (Lauren) Watson, Janelle Watson, Amy Roth and Luke Roth; great grandchildren: Brynnleigh Watson, Jarrett Watson, Ryan Watson and Alex Watson.

In addition to her parents, Bernice is preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Watson; son: John Watson; siblings: Dorothy Stinson and Rolland Zech.

Memorial donations may be made out to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or Stein Hospice.

Private services will be observed.
