Barbara Shelby Obituary

Barbara Shelby, 79, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 at her home. She was born March 23, 1941 in Stilwell, Oklahoma the daughter of Orva Dee Ketcher.

Barbara was a former bartender at the American Legion Post 46, VFW 1238, and the former Moose Lodge in Bellevue. She enjoyed working out especially in the Silver Sneakers program. She was most happy when she was at home surrounded by her family. She enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren and cooking anything they requested.

She married J.R. Shelby on July 30, 1983 in Clyde; He survives along with their children: Jennifer (Hershel) Cordle, Leatha Hefner, Johnny (Terri) Trujillo, Don (Laura) Trujillo, Summer Shelby, Laure (Chris) Swain, and Deb (Tom) Sengstock; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother and daughter, Tina Kessler.

At Barbara’s request there will be no services. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
