Barbara Wears Honas, 78, of Bellevue passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Countryside Manor in Fremont. She was born December 9, 1946 in Port Clinton the daughter of Everett and Lear (Butler) Wears.
Barbara was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by her two sons: Garald Lee Williams of Bellevue and Vincent Baker of Fremont; daughter, Nika Westbrooks of Sandusky; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers: Bill (Shiela) Butler of West Virginia and Michael Wears of Fremont; and sisters: Geraldine (Bill) Skinner of Jacksonville, Connie Crawford of Oak Harbor, and Sherry Wears-O’Quinn of Kingsport, TN.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Williams; granddaughter, Melissa Williams; brothers, Bud Wears and Larry Wears; and sister, Lori J. Wears.
Friends will be received on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 11am until a funeral service begins at 1 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Private Burial will be held in Catawba Island Cemetery.
