Arvilla Strecker

Arvilla Strecker, 100, of Bellevue passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022, at The Bellevue Hospital.  She was born June 22, 1922, in Norwalk, the daughter of Albert and Flora (Lyons) Chaffee.  Arvilla married Myron Strecker on January 2, 1942.  He preceded her in death in 2006.

Arvilla was a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a homemaker while raising her two sons before working in medical billing.  She enjoyed camping, sewing, and gardening and cherished her time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Holly) Strecker of Bellevue; 5 grandchildren: Danny, Trisha, Logan, Seth, and Gabe; and 2 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Tim Strecker; sisters: Lavada Cook, Blanche Weinert, and Florence Burras; and brothers: Carl, Charles, Richard, Harold, Leonard, and Lawrence Chaffee.

Private services will be observed.  Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
