Arthur "Louie" Raschke

Arthur “Louie” Raschke, age 96 of Bellevue, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Ridgewood Manor in Maumee, OH. Louie was born September 7, 1924 in Clyde the son of the late Arthur and Martha (Martin) Raschke.

Louie was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue. He served in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946 on the USS Franks 554 as a Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class. Louie enjoyed restoring classic cars and was heavily involved at the Bellevue Rec. Center. He was an outstanding father and grandfather.

Louie is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Gus) Van Fleet of Toledo; grandson, Dr. Andrew Raschke of Monclova; and brother, Robert (Laura) Raschke of Sandusky.

In addition to his parents, Louie is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (Celek) Raschke, whom he married January 25, 1947 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Fremont; sons: John and Thomas Raschke; and brothers: Herbert and Edwin Raschke.

A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1pm at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde.
