Anna K. Nailor, age 37 of Bellevue, OH, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH. Anna was born January 25, 1989, in Norwalk, OH, the daughter of Jeanne (Williams) Nailor and the late Gerald “Jerry” Nailor.
Anna was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She found pure joy in the simple things like: swinging high at her favorite swing in the park, savoring a slice of pizza, and sharing warm hugs with anyone lucky enough to receive one. Rarely seen without her beloved plastic snakes in hand, Anna carried them everywhere, a sweet and familiar part of her personality that brought smiles to so many.
Anna’s life was enriched by the countless individuals who walked alongside her journey. Her family is deeply grateful for the compassion, friendship, and unwavering support shown by the staff and friends at the Bruce Center, School of Hope, ECI Inc., and the many caring people throughout the developmental disabilities community. The love and dedication of these extended “families” made a lasting impact on Anna’s life and on the hearts of those who love her. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit, her affectionate nature, and the happiness she so freely shared.
In addition to her mother, Anna is survived by her sister, Dawn Nailor of San Jose, CA; and aunts and uncles: Wilmer (Judy) Nailor, Marjorie Nailor, Cynthia Crecelius, Linda (Roger) Lard, and Teresa (Roy) Zeigler.
In addition to her father, Anna is preceded in death by her aunt and uncles: Barbara (Bob) Sidle, Robert Crecelius, and Kerwin Nailor.
Friends will be received on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 5:00pm until a funeral service beginning at 6:00pm at Zion United Church of Christ - Fireside, 13525 E Township Rd 178, Bellevue, OH 44811.
