Angela Iannello

Angela Iannello, age 86, of Bellevue passed away October 2, 2021 at her home.  She was born April 7, 1935 in Sant'Agata di Militello, Sicily the daughter of the late Antonino & Benedetta (Testa) Naso.

Angela was a homemaker and worked at GE and Woodall Industries, Fremont. 

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, where she cooked/baked for many funeral luncheons;  she was a member of the former Club Amer-Ital and it’s Ladies Auxiliary.

She was an avid gardener, canning her own garden vegetables and tomato sauce.  She was an accomplished seamstress and kept beautiful roses around her house.  Above all, she loved her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family.  

Survivors include her children, Carl J. (Mary K.) Iannello of Bellevue, Denise C. (James K.) Warren of Avon Lake, Lisa B. (Matt Stover) Thompson of Bellevue;  her grandchildren, Jason Williams, Breana Thompson, Camden Thompson, Anthony, Joey, Vince, and Franky Warren; her siblings, Calogero Naso of Cirie’, Italy, Rosalia Naso Miceli of Sant'Agata di Militello, Sicily, Giuseppina Naso Castrovinci, Sant'Agata di Militello, Sicily; her in-laws, Sarah Iannello of Bellevue, Charlie Iannello of Mentor, and Josie Minor of Bellevue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carmelo “Carl” Iannello whom she married Sept. 11, 1962 in Sant'Agata di Militello, Sicily; her siblings, Salvatore Naso, Biagio Naso, Domenica Naso Brunello, Santo Naso, and Vincenzo Naso; and numerous sisters and brothers in law.  

Friends will be received Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021 from 5 – 8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.

Masks are not required, however, the family urges anyone that is un-vaccinated to consider wearing a mask.
