Andrew "Andy" P. Wettrich

Andrew "Andy" P. Wettrich, age 71 of Clyde, passed away Tuesday, November, 21, 2023, at Elmwood Assisted Living in Fremont, OH. Andy was born December 5, 1951, in Fremont, the son of the late William and Lillian (Mathna) Wettrich.

Andy worked at whirlpool for a total of 28 years. In his free time he enjoyed doing puzzles, crosswords, and being a proud grandpa of 10 grandchildren. Andy was a big sports fan rooting on the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Kentucky Wildcats basketball. A moment in Andy's life he was always mentioning was when in 1979, he was selected to be on the Ohio Lottery Challenge Show where he travelled to Cleveland and won $7,000.

Andy is survived by his children: Brian Wettrich of Clyde, Angie Dicker of Fremont, Eric Wettrich of Port Clinton, and Cory Wettrich of Bellevue; grandchildren: Avery, Blake, Scarlett, Peyton, Gavin, Adysen, Amelia, Ava, Braddock, and Mason; and siblings: Jim Wettrich of Clyde, Jerry Wettrich of Fremont, and Jackie Wettrich of Fremont.

In addition to his parents, Andrew is preceded in death by his brother, B.J. Wettrich.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 10:00am until a memorial mass beginning at 11:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 609 Vine St, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
