Alisan H. Maginnis, 85, passed away on the morning of October 2, 2024, in Santee, SC. She was born on February 20, 1939, to Eleanor and Raymond Howland in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
She was married to her beloved husband Leon on October 24, 1959, and they lived in Bellevue, Ohio and Santee, South Carolina together until his passing in 2021.
Alisan is preceded in death by her husband Leon, father Raymond, mother Eleanor, brother Mike Howland, and brother-in-law, Donald (Junior) Maginnis.
Alisan leaves behind her son Patrick and his wife Monica of Cary, NC and their three children, Danny, Tommy, and Martina, and her daughter Kelly and her husband Jeff Hartlage of Charlotte, NC and their two children Greg and Jill. She also leaves behind her brother Raburn (Nuni) and Bob Howland, and many nieces and nephews.
She worked for many years beside her husband in his accounting firm, supporting and helping business grow. She was also active in the Santee Cooper Ladies Golf Association for many years in multiple roles, as well assisting in the organization of the Wing Dings.
She enjoyed many rounds of golf with her friends in Santee over the years. She was also dedicated to her many pets, Poochie, Toy, Funny Face and Ty to mention a few. Alisan was spunky to the end and will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.
