Alfred Wilson Sr.

Alfred Wilson Sr., 87, of Clyde passed away Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Bellevue Care Center.  He was born June 6, 1937 in Willard, Ohio the son of Edward and Claramay (Nichols) Wilson.

Al was a graduate of Willard High School.  He was employed by Bellevue Manufacturing for over 30 years and was a member of UAW Local 493.  He was a task oriented man, who loved to run errands and keep moving.  He especially loved being with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children: Randy (Jane), Scott (Dee), Melissa (Tim), Julie (Jim), Rhonda, Alfred Jr. (Chasta), and Zach (Bev).  Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and 2 sisters:Lillian Harmoning and Lucille Clagg.

In addition to his parents, Al is preceded in death by his wife, Janis (Tusing) whom he married July 29, 1956; twin sons: Tim and Todd; and numerous siblings.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 11am until a funeral service begins at 1 pm, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
