Wayne Moyer Sr.

Wayne Franklin Moyer, Sr., age 85 years, of Magnolia, formerly of Bellevue, Ohio, passed away, Friday, February 23, 2018 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.

He was a member of LaRue Baptist Church in Hodgenville and was a retired dairy farmer.

Wayne Franklin Moyer, Sr., age 85 years, of Magnolia, formerly of Bellevue, Ohio, passed away, Friday, February 23, 2018 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.

He was a member of LaRue Baptist Church in Hodgenville and was a retired dairy farmer.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Moyer; grandson, Craig Moyer; daughter-in-law, Phylis Moyer and five brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Libby” Moyer; two daughters, Gayle (Carl) Barton of Bellevue, Ohio and Sherry (Ron) McLaughlin of Newark, Ohio; three sons, Danny Moyer of Corinth, Mississippi, Wayne Franklin (Shannon) Moyer, Jr. of Fishers, Indiana and Steven (Barbara) Moyer of Etna, Ohio; two step-daughters, Sandra (Sammy) Slayton of Magnolia and Sharon (Gary) Ellenson of Elizabethtown; a sister, Janet (Roger) Russell of Bellevue, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren; one step-grandson; thirty-two great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A graveside service will begin on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Bellevue Cemetery.
