Vera A Willis

Vera A. Willis age 101, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Heritage Village, Clyde.  She was born July 21, 1916 in Anniston, AL the daughter of the late Dallas & Effie (Boyd) Dennis.

She married Roy C. Willis May 12, 1933 In Haleyville, AL; he preceded her in death in 1946.

Vera was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Haleyville.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jean Burson of Norwalk, OH, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her children, Mavlene Antee, Edwin H.” Bud” Willis, Leroy “Mickey” Willis and 4 siblings.

Friends will be received Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 4 – 8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl., Bellevue.  A funeral service will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery, Haleyville, AL.
