Theresa Alt

Theresa Alt age 88 of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 at the Bellevue Care Center, with her family by her side.  She was born July 3, 1930 in Marywood the daughter of the late John & Appolonia (Siesel) Gerber.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Gaspar Church, Altar Rosary Society, Bellevue Garden Club, Four County Young at Heart and Eagles Aerie 490 Auxiliary. Theresa enjoyed making and sharing cookies, tending to her garden, playing cards, attending the Sorrowful Mother Shrine, but loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren most of all.

Survivors include her sons; Dennis (Gayle) Alt, David (Chris) Alt, daughter; Diane (Nick) Miller, sister; Martha Fritz,  grandchildren; Nicole (Dan) Schiefer, Brandi (Jude) Hines, Dr. Amber (Luke) Alt, Marlee Alt, Dustin (Kim) Alt, Tyler (Heidi) Alt, Brennen Alt, Matthew (Rachael) Miller, Nathan (Steph) Miller,  great-grandchildren, Lilly, Evan & Tom Schiefer; Weston Alt, Reagan, McKinley, Harrison, Taylor Alt; Audra & Charlotte Miller. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Alt whom she married June 13, 1953 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, twin grandsons; Zachary & Derrick Schiefer, sister; Rita Gates and brother; Julius Gerber.

Friends will be received Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 2-5 & 6-8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where the rosary will be recited Sunday 1:30 pm.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 13, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, 16209 CR 46, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at St. Michaels Cemetery.
