Susan Hopkins, 72, of Bellevue passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at The Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. She was born April 27, 1947 in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William Barnett and Mary (Bookwalter) Manning.
Mrs. Hopkins worked at Faulhabers in Monroeville, Ohio for 17 years. She enjoyed going to casinos, playing Bingo, and getting together with family. In her later years she enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the western United States.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Hopkins, whom she married on May 2, 1964 in Bellevue; daughter, Tonya (Mike) Neiding of Vermilion, Ohio; Son-in-law, Donald Eastman of Norwalk; Two grandchildren: Matthew Eastman and Lindsey (Aaron) Putnam; and great grandson, Landon Eastman.
In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Hopkins-Eastman; sisters, Mardella Flood and Sarah Rohlf; and brother, Ralph Barnett.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Bellevue City Cemetery.
