Stephen Doster Obituary

Stephen Dale Doster, 74, of Bellevue passed away Dec. 31, 2018 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky. He was born May 19, 1944 in Norwalk the son of the late Henry D. & Madeline M. (Schug) Doster.

Steve retired from Bellevue City Schools.

He was a volunteer fire fighter at the Bellevue Fire Department, a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Bellevue Eagles & Elks Clubs. Steve was a season ticket holder for over 35 years for the Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed golf, fishing but being with his grandchildren most of all. He was a dog lover and enjoyed the company of his dogs Sadie & Holly.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Lou (Hansen) Doster whom he married November 28, 1964 in Bellevue, sons, Jeffrey (Sherri) Doster of Bellevue, John (Elizabeth) Doster of Dublin, OH, Jason (Diane) Doster of Bellevue, Jeremy (Sarah) Doster of Bellevue, 7 grandchildren, Jakob, Samuel, Bryant, Jillian, Cameron, Corey, Ryan, brothers, David Doster of Bowling Green, Daniel (Gale) Doster of Pearl, MS, and many beloved nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a private memorial service and burial.
