Shirley Hill

Shirley Hill age 84 of Bellevue passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 at the Willows of Bellevue.  She was born Jan. 17, 1934 in Attica, IN the daughter of the late Andrew & Edith (Leslie) Trapp.

Shirley worked at St. Paul’s Day Care for many years and volunteered in the Kitchen and afternoon children’s program.

She loved watching her grandchildren at sporting events.  She will be remembered for her care for others.

Shirley enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and the Cleveland Indians.

Survivors include, her children, Steve (Jami) Hill of Bellevue, Kathy (Mark) Roeser of Bellevue, grandchildren, Shaun (Christina Tanna) Hill, Ashley (Sean) Tyler, Ryan (Alaina) Hill, Jeff (Maddie Wichman) Roeser, Bobby (Laini Carlson) Roeser, Great-grandchildren, Braiden Hill, Ella Hill, Paxton Tyler, Oakley Tyler, Hudson Tyler, her sister Janet (Tony) Straziuso of Sandusky and a very tight knit group of friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll “Cap” Hill whom she married June 19, 1954 at Immaculate Conception Church, her brother Charles Trapp and Grandson, Thomas Roeser.

Friends will be received Friday, March 2, 2018 from 2 – 8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where the Rosary will be recited Friday, at 1:30 pm.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
