Robert M. Sweet, age 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky. He was born in Cleveland on February 13, 1948 and was truly grateful to have been adopted by Joseph and Evelyn (Sillman) Sweet.

Camping was a great enjoyment for Bob for many years and treasured the many friends and memories made. His favorite hobby of shooting sporting clays brought much joy and smiles to many. He wouldn’t miss one of his girls’ softball games (daughters or granddaughters!) and was so dedicated, with the help of the team, built the Bellevue Lady Red softball dugouts which are still in use today. He enjoyed watching Westerns and was inspired by John Wayne. Bob was a true Ohio State fan and really enjoyed watching Buckeye football.
