Robert H. Robinson Sr., 88, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky. He was born November 17, 1931 in Glen Robbins, Ohio the son of Wilbur H. Robinson and Lennie (Mayhigh) Borsos.
Robert served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a hard-working man who did whatever it took to take care of his family and was a mentor to many. In his younger years he enjoyed bowling, fishing, and golf and more recently enjoyed playing Euchre. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 490 and VFW Post 1238.
He Is survived by his two sons: Robert H. (Amy) Robinson Jr. of Huron and Keith A. (Wendy) Robinson of Bellevue; daughter, Lisa (Andy) Shroyer of Indiana; Eight Grandchildren: Ryan A. (Brittany) Robinson of Bellevue, Dawn A. Kessler of Bellevue, Bradley W. Bloom of Bellevue, Haley M. Robinson of Cincinnati, Bridget E. (Mark) Strecker of Bellevue, Seth A. (Harleigh) Keegan of Bellevue, Devon A. Keegan of Bellevue, Kiana A. Robinson of Bellevue, Kurt A. Robinson of Bellevue; step-grandson: Zach S. Ray; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brothers, Charles Robinson of Galion.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Annice Mae (Garner), whom he married August 17, 1957 in Rayland, Ohio; and siblings: Betty Robinson and Tom Robinson.
Friends will be received on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service will begin on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial with military Honors will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
