Nancy C. (Salyer) Metzger

Nancy C. Metzger, age 70 of Burgoon, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 at her home. Nancy was born April 18, 1949 in Blountville, TN the daughter of the late Charles and Arzella (Carr) Salyer.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, doing arts and crafts, especially painting, and gardening. She also loved her dogs, Sheba and Lady.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Lawrence Metzger, Jr, whom she married June 27, 1998 in Rossford; three sons: James Parlow of Burgoon, Jeffrey Parlow of Burgoon, and Jerry Parlow of Fostoria; step-daughter, Nanci Metzger of Naples, FL; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Charles “Dave” (Nancy) Salyer of Avilla, IN; mother-in-law, Nancy I. Metzger; and sisters-in-law: Debbie Sparks and Sandra Winkler.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 11:00am until a funeral service beginning at 2:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
