Michael "Big Mike" Payne

Michael R. “Big Mike” Payne age 63 of Green Springs passed away Dec 21, 2017 at his home.  He was born April 30, 1954 in San Diego, CA the son of the late Daniel & Bonnie Sue (Mayhan) Payne.

Mike was a 1972 graduate of Columbian High School.  He worked for many years on oil rigs in Colorado and moved back to Clyde and worked for Meyers Construction and Beck Oil.

He enjoyed Fishing, cooking, hunting, riding his Harley-Davidson.  Mike was a member of the Bikers Memorial Riders Group, Original patch member of F.O.G. (Fat Old Guys Riders Group, He was the lead rider for the Toy’s for Tot’s Teddy bear Group, and helped with many poker runs.  He will be remembered for his joy of spending time with his friends and helping others.

Survivors include his Mom, Betty (Al) Flicker of Bellevue, siblings, Cheri Lynn Payne of Fremont, Debbie Freeman of Clyde, Doug Payne of Green Springs, Denise Huntsman of Louisville, KY, nieces and nephews, Eric Cook, Monica Payne, Jennifer Jones, Heather (Mario) Montano, Ricki (Tara) Salazar, Joshua Stults, 10 great-nieces and 10 Great-nephews; and his beloved dog, Rudy.

Friends will be received Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 from 1:00 pm until a memorial service begins at 7:00 pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy., Clyde.
