Laura L. Tipton, age 52 of Green Springs, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky surrounded by her family. Laura was born January 30, 1967 in Bellevue the daughter of William and Joyce (Berberick) Miller.
Laura was a 1985 graduate of Clyde High School. Laura spent many years in retail management at Rite Aid and Dollar General where she made many lifelong friends. Laura was also a certified Phlebotomist and Nail Technician.
Laura was an avid animal lover always taking in strays and loving all of God’s creatures. Laura and her husband John were members of Grace Community Church where she enjoyed services and her love of music. She embraced life always trying new things and valued the many roles she was blessed to play within her family. Laura was a free spirit and will be remembered for her willingness to help others, her tenacity, her laugh, her fearlessness and how much fun she was to simply spend time with.
In addition to her parents, Laura is survived by her husband John Tipton, whom she married October 2, 1993 in Clyde; three sons: Josh Wyss (Brandon Bortel) of Monclova, Nick (Kristy) Tipton of Maumee, and Jonathan Tipton (Amber Gordon) of Green Springs; sister, Traci Shook of Toledo. step-daughter, Katie Tipton-Krach of Richmond, VA; seven grandchildren: Addison, Brooke, William, Angel, Rachel, Jeffrey, and Christian.
Laura is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jeffrey Shook, and her grandparents.
Friends will be received Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 10:00 am with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am at Grace Community Church, 900 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH 43420.
