Kristine A. Stephens, age 62 of Clyde, passed away at her home, Monday, February 25, 2019. Kristine was born February 7, 1957 in Fostoria, the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Mattox) Stephens.
Kristine was a 1975 Clyde Graduate and worked for 32 years at Heinz until her retirement in 2011. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clyde, the Daughters of the American Revolution, Campfire, and the Clyde VFW. She enjoyed travelling, quilting, woodworking, genealogy, fairy gardens, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Kristine is survived by her son, James “Jim” (Kendra Marks) Stephens, of Bloomville; four grandchildren: Jacob (Brooke Tate) Stephens, Madelyn Stephens, Hunter Stephens, and Elsie Hovatter; siblings: William “David” (Lawrie) Stephens of Reynoldsville, PA, Kathy (Steve) Magers of Bellevue, and Treva (Paul) Smith of Clyde; and close cousin, Earl David “Rusty” (Ann) Mattox of Mason, WV.
In addition to her parents, Kristine is preceded in death by her nephew, William Greer Smith.
Friends will be received Friday, March 1, 2019 from 4-7:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy., Clyde, OH 43410. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00am at the First Presbyterian Church of Clyde, 113 W Forest St, Clyde, OH 43410.
