Judith L. “Cook” Howey, age 71 of Port Clinton, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 14, 1946 in Clyde the daughter of the late Claude J. and Irene C. (Ball) Mesnard.
Judith was a member of the Clyde Moose Lodge. She enjoyed crocheting and was known as a good cook.
Judith is survived by her husband, Charles “Butch” Howey, whom she married May 18, 1985 in Clyde; children: Ron (Jocelyn) Bucklew of Clyde, Rhonda Bucklew Bullard of Clyde, and Jody Bucklew of Fremont; siblings: William (Peggy) Mesnard of Clyde, Bonnie Mayes of Clyde, and LaDonna Dorobek of Fremont; four grandchildren: Brandon, Chelsea, Dylan, and Kane; and four great-grandchildren: Gavin, Liam, Landen, and Kaysen.
In addition to her parents, Judith is preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Eugene Bucklew Sr.; brother, Jerry Mesnard; and sisters: Claudette Hilt, Betty Mesnard, and Linda Mesnard.
Friends will be received Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy., Clyde, OH, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11am, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
