Jacob E. Smith

Jacob E. Smith, age 36 of Clyde, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 15, 1981 in Sandusky the son of Edward Smith of Fremont and Christine (Kauble) Smith of Clyde.

In addition to his parents, Jake is survived by his sisters: Holly (Joe) Bollenbacher of Bellevue and Ashley (Phillip) Jones of Columbus; niece and nephews: Mason, Camden, Azlin, Paxton, and Pierson; and his beloved dog, Sadie.

Jake is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Jake’s family will be having a memorial gathering on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 12:00 – 4:00pm at Sauber’s Stumble Inn, 5921 West Tiffin St., Bascom, OH 44883.

Memorial donations may be made in Jake’s honor to the Sandusky County Humane Society, 1315 N River Rd, Fremont, OH 43420.
