Helen Risner

Helen Risner, 78, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Extended Family Assisted Living in Bellevue.  She was born August 19, 1941 in Double Springs, Alabama the daughter of Henry and Nellie (Hunter) Basil. 

Helen worked and retired from the General Electric Lamp Plant in Bellevue.  She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Bellevue and enjoyed traveling and cooking.

She is survived by her two sisters: Ethel Dennis of Bellevue and Betty Parrish of Bellevue along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hassel Risner; and two sons, Kevin Risner and Scott Risner.

Friends will be received on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 2 -5 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday at Providence Baptist Church, 1000 W. Gardner Road, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at York Chapel Cemetery.
