Harold Wolfe, 95 years 11 months and 9 days, passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness.
Born in Elyria, Ohio he was a World War II Army Veteran serving with the 505th Ordinance Outfit in Europe, landing at Omaha Beach. He was a retired Road Gang Electrician from Norfold & Western Railroad. He enjoyed fishing, leather tooling, and held the Amateur Radio License KA8LTT.
He is survived by his son, Harold “Rick” Wolfe and his wife, Shirley. Granddaughters: Candice Kraus and Alexis Wolfe; Three great granddaughters; and siblings: Donna Roberts and Paul Wolfe.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Clara (Widdig) Wolfe and his beloved wife, Matilda “Tilly” Wolfe.
At his request, cremation taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is assisting the family with arrangements.
