Gail Weller

Gail A. Weller, age 79 of Flat Rock, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Metro Health Hospital in Cleveland surrounded by her loving family. Gail was born July 21, 1940 in Bellevue the daughter of the late Earl and Lyle (Addis) Ebersole.

Gail was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother with a heart of gold. She was loved by all whom she met. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she never missed anyone’s special days.
Her career as a postmaster allowed her to meet so many people which gave her joy. She loved to travel and play bingo with her friends.
She was a member of TOPS and loved scrapbooking.  Having her church family was very important to her and she rarely missed a Sunday in all of her years at Flat Rock United Methodist Church.  She will be sadly missed by many.

Gail is survived by her husband, Robert C. Weller, Sr, whom she married January 7, 1958 in Bellevue; son: Robert C. (Brenda) Weller, Jr. of Flat Rock; daughters: Kelly (Cletus) Snay of Norwalk, Kris (Mark) Jennings of Bellevue, and Koleen Weller of Bellevue; grandchildren: Brian Treat, Sarah Treat, Torri (\Wesley) Reineck, Chad (Deserae) Gray, Amber (Eli) Beckley, Jessy Greene, Halle McGinn, Brandi (Ethan) Rollingson, Brandan Mellon, Jordan Mellon, Chad Snay, and Corey Snay; 21 great-grandchildren; and brother, Evan “Butch” Ebersole.

In addition to her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Treat; siblings: Lynn Ebersole, Enid Martin, and Dawn Drewes; and her lifelong best friend, Pat Fields.

Friends will be received Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 2-7pm and Friday, January 17, 2020 from 2-7pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811. Gail’s funeral service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11am at Flat Rock Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 7500 N Seneca County Road 29, Flat Rock, OH 44828. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery.
