Faye Louise Mira, 80, of Bellevue passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at her home. She was born December 16, 1937 in Clyde, Ohio the daughter of Gordon and Emma K. (Ebersole) Myers.
Faye worked as an Electronic Technician for the former Rockwell International, now Boeing in Georgia. She was a self-taught piano player, enjoyed writing poems, and was an avid reader. She knitted, crocheted- counter cross stitch, and knitted all of her grandchildren’s christening outfits. She loved to do cross words and left hidden messages for her family on coloring sheets.
She is survived by her five children: William (Cindy) Mira Jr. of Bellevue, Gina M. Wnorowski of Bellevue, Cynthia K. (Tom) Goodsite of Bellevue, Dena L. (Bruce) Henney of Bellevue, and Ben W. (Michelle) Mira of Bellevue; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Gary William Myers.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Casey Walters; siblings: Katherine Ann Myers-Pocock, and Donald Myers; and son-in-law, Ted Wnorowski.
A private memorial service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Bellevue Catholic Cemetery. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Stein Hospice or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
