Dorothy T. (Didion) Shelley age 90 of Bellevue passed away Friday April 6, 2018 at the Bellevue Hospital. She was born Dec. 7, 1927 in Bellevue the daughter of the late August & Louise (Ringlein) Didion.
Dorothy was a graduate of St. Sebastian School and worked as a licensed cosmetologist and at J.C. Penny in Bellevue.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish where she was a choir member and a member of its Altar Rosary Society and St. Jude Study Club. She enjoyed reading, gardening and sewing.
Survivors include her children; Bill (Katie) Shelley of Columbus, Bruce Shelley of Bellevue, Kathy (Frank) Copeland of Columbus, Steve (Chris) Shelley of Delaware, Dorene (Michael) DeBlase of Bellevue; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, James Didion and sister; Olivia Helmkamp.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Harold L. Shelley whom she married May 20, 1950 in Bismark; 3 infant children; siblings; Elmer Didion, Albin Didion, Irene Grine, Agnes Stewart, Delores Nelson, Lavina Friend, Edwin Didion, Paul Didion, Mary Didion and Rita Brandal.
Friends will be received on Monday, Apr. 9, 2018 from 3 – 8 pm at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue where the Rosary will be recited at 2:30 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Apr. 10, 2018, 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Bismark.
