Dolores M. “Dee” Butler, 84, of Bellevue went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 29, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dee retired from Delco Chassis in 1988 after 35 years of service. After her retirement Dee worked at Spinners and Crazy Bugs and volunteered for Toys for Tots, The Bellevue Hospital, her Union Retiree Dinners, and helped at Bingo for the Humane Society. She was a member of the American Legion Post 46, Bellevue, life member of the V.F.W. Post 1238, Bellevue and UAW Local 913, Sandusky.
She is survived by her two sons: John Boles of Bellevue and Joseph Butler of Sandusky; daughters: Anita “Tina” Leber of Bellevue, Cheryll (Dale) Hoffman of Bellevue, and Kimberly (Brian) Edmonds of Vickery; 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lynn Butler whom she married January 29, 1974 in Sandusky; and siblings, Tony Farrell, John Farrell, Ruth Dobrowolski and Linda Wright.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2-7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service will begin on Tuesday at 11a.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
