David Thomas McGonigle, Jr.

David Thomas McGonigle, Jr., was born October 19, 1969 and passed suddenly on February 9, 2018.  David was born in Maryland and moved with his family to Cleveland, Ohio in 1979.  He joined the U.S. Navy in 1987 and served 4 years during the Gulf War. He also served over 1 year in the U.S. Marine Corps(1997). 

He lived in Norfolk, Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina before settling in Clyde, Ohio in 2002.  He was married twice and had 3 sons.  He was an avid sports fan and loved the Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved and played video games with his sons. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Al and Rita Jones, paternal grandparents George and Florence McGonigle, and his son Jonathan A. 

He is survived by his sons David A. and Isaac J., his mother Kathleen Cruse, his father David T. McGonigle Sr., his brother Christopher G., his stepmother Debbie McGonigle, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. 

A memorial service will be held at Foos Funeral Home, 504 E. McPherson Hwy Clyde, Ohio 43410, at 11am, Saturday February 17, 2018.
