David Hire

David Hire age 72 of Castalia passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.  He was born March 7, 1947 in Bellevue the son of the late Milton & Lucille (Kuns) Hire.

David worked for J & H Construction. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and golfing with his brothers.

He served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah (Foos) Hire whom he married June 7, 1969 in Bellevue, and resides in Castalia, daughter, Nicole (Steve) Gravenhorst, Bellevue, grandchildren, Kaycee, Kade, Kamry, brothers, Glenn (Barb) Hire, Norwalk, Daniel Hire, Bellevue, sister, Clarice Moyer, Sturgis, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Gene Hire, Dean Hire, sister, Faye (William) Monk and sister in laws, Barb Sass and Ferne Harpster.

A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
