Chae Wood

Chae Wood, age 82 of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at The Bellevue Care Center. She was born February 12, 1936 in Seoul, South Korea the daughter of the late Seo Dong Hun and Lee Yong Gue.

Chae is survived by her husband, Harry Wood of Bellevue, whom she married May 6, 1960 at the American Embassy in South Korea; sons: Donald Wood of Bellevue and Harry Wood of Bellevue; grandchildren: Kurtis Wood, Sarah Wood, Margaret Wood, Jonathan Kuns, and Cassandra Wood; great-grandchildren: Noah Kreglow, Zohie Wood, Wesley Kuns, Martin Kuns, and another on the way, Rayden Lee; brothers: Chae Sam Seo of Gahanna, OH and Chae Mun Seo of Seoul, South Korea; and sister, Seo Soo Ok.

In addition to her parents, Chae is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Wood.

Friends will be received Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2-4pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Home, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811. A funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde.

Memorial donation may be made in Chae’s honor to a charity of the donor’s choice.
