Torrance K Norman

Torrance K. Norman, 73,  of Bloomville passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at his home.  He was born April 3, 1950 in Seneca County the son of Gene T. and Eunice (Springer) Norman.

Torrance worked as a millwright at Bellevue Manufacturing until his retirement in 2013.  He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.  On warm, dry days he loved to take his yellow sports car for a drive and listen to Elvis and other oldies.  At home he loved to hide around the corner and took great pleasure when he would scare someone.  He was a member Eagles Aerie 490 and served in the United States Army Reserves.

He is survived by his wife, Diane (Reilly), whom he married April 11, 1975, in Clyde; children: Torrance K. Norman II, Cassondra L. (Kelvin) McMorris, Rachel R. Norman, all of Bloomville and Tania M. Jones of Bellevue; grandchildren: Tori (Keith) Humphrey, Nickolas Humphrey, Caleb Norman, Nolan Diaz, Dixie R. Fry, Kelvin McMorris Jr., and Joanna McMorris; siblings: Gene T. (Leanne) Norman Jr of Bloomville and Darlene (Steve Smith) Norman of Fremont; mother-in-law, Irene Reilly; siblings-in-law: Danny (Barb) Reilly, Donald (Sue) Reilly, Christine (Larry) Tusing, Ronald Reilly, and Gary Reilly.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, James L. Norman and Sharon L. Norman; nephew, Zachary Norman; father-in-law, Charles Reilly; siblings-in-law: Larry Reilly, Katherine Headley, William C. Reilly, Arthur Reilly, Louis Reilly, and Ruby McGuire.

Friends will be received on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday.  Burial will follow at Bellevue City Cemetery.
