Ralph Reinhart

Ralph E. Reinhart, 77, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Gaymont Nursing Home in Norwalk.  He was born January 18, 1947 in Bellevue the son of Fred L. and Anna (Ruffing) Reinhart.

Ralph served in the United States Army and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1238 and American Legion Post 46, Bellevue.  Ralph loved working with his hands and enjoyed rebuilding car engines and tractors and spent many days in the garage tinkering.  A loving grandfather, Ralph adored his two granddaughters, Natalie, and Elizabeth.

He is survived by his son, Gerald Reinhart of Bellevue; daughter, Christina (James) Nixon of Bellevue; granddaughters, Natalie Nixon and Elizabeth Nixon of Bellevue; and brother, Howard Reinhart of Tennessee.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara (Williams), whom he married in 1973 at Reed Assumption Church; brothers: Robert, LeRoy, and Eugene Reinhart; and nephew, Michael LeRoy Reinhart.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 3-8 pm at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A graveside service with Military Honors will begin on Thursday at 11 am at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Cr 46, Bellevue.
