Kyle W. Strong

Kyle W. Strong, age 35 of Sandusky, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at his home. Kyle was born November 23, 1988, in Norwalk, the son of Monica Lapata and William Strong, Jr.

Kyle graduated in 2007 from Bellevue High School and went on to earn his Associate’s degree in Arts from Ashland University in 2022. He was working towards his Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Art.

Kyle had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. He loved music, golfing, spending time with his family and friends, and the ocean. One of Kyle’s passions was for art. He loved to draw, paint, and write poetry. He loved dogs and worked with them to become trained service dogs for children with disabilities through the W.A.G.S. program.

Kyle had a smile that would light up the room and he enjoyed making people laugh with his jokes and giving people a hard time. He had a beautiful soul and a silly personality.

Kyle had given his life to the Lord and truly felt at peace when he went to church.

Kyle aspired to help others through his own experiences. He had a dream of one day creating a place where he could help other people through their struggles of the recovery process and transitioning back into society to live a good life.

In addition to his parents, Kyle is survived by his sister, Janel (Chris Jordan) Strong; maternal Nana, Ilona Lapata; aunts and uncles: Barbara (Ron Schneider) Lapata, Janette (James) Andrus, and Nanette (Clarence) Peters; cousins: Matthew (Rachel James) Lapata, Adrienne Gillett, Clarence (Dana) Peters, Katie Peters, and Zeb Peters; and niece and nephew: Gabby and Jarrett Jordan.

Kyle is preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents: William, Sr. and Karen Strong, and maternal Papa, Stephen Lapata.

Friends will be received on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 1pm until a funeral service beginning at 5pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. Mcpherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
