Doris Geiger

Doris J. Geiger, 94, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at The Willows at Bellevue.  She was born December 17, 1929 in Bellevue the daughter of Edward and Pearl (Emerick) Green.

Doris was employed at Citizens’ Bank in Sandusky until her retirement in 1993.  She enjoyed bowling, meeting at the donut shop or coffee shop with her friends.  Doris also enjoyed traveling with her sister, Ruth Zechman.

She married Ralph Geiger on November 4, 1950 in Bellevue.  He preceded her in death in February 1989.

Doris is survived by her nephew, Ronald E. (Rose) Greene of Bellevue; niece, Sheree (Tom) Beckman of Bellevue; great nieces: Carrie (Brandon) Buchanan of Wakeman and Megan (Scot) Halls of Jessup, GA; and 5 great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Zechman; and brother, Robert Green.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 11 a.m. until a funeral service begins at Noon at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
