David R. Miskell

David R. Miskell of Dublin, OH (formerly Worthington) passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 92. He is survived by his wife, Alice, son, Todd of Boston, MA, and daughter, Karen of Southern California.

David was born near Lancaster, OH on March 8, 1931, the son of Ray and Eliza Miskell, and brother to his sister, Patricia Witenhafer, and brothers: John and Richard Miskell.

Professor Miskell retired in 1988 from The Ohio State University in the Ohio Cooperative Extension Service College of Agriculture after 35 years.

David received his B.S. and M.S. Degrees in Agriculture Economics from The Ohio State University and completed additional graduate study through the Universities of Arizona, Colorado, and Minnesota. He is a life member of the O.S.U. Alumni Association. He was a faithful member of the Worthington Presbyterian Church and a member of the Ohio Lancaster Masonic Lodge for 64 years.

David served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and is a member of the American Legion.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High St, Worthington, OH 43085. A graveside committal service with military honors will be held for the family on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Riverside Cemetery in Monroeville, OH.
