Victor Herman (email):	“Sylvester and I go back a long way.The last two years of my grade school at Franks (We called him Vessie )We rode the bus together and talked some German.Vessie only lived about 1/2 mile from us on the farm .What I didn't think of he did .My Deceased Brother Paul always took me out to see Jake at the gas station or later Garage .We would talk German till he would snow me ..I seen and talked to him at St Mary's Catholic Church in Sandusky 2008.He wqs right behind me .My Nephew Al Flicker took me to church .That was the last time I seen him .As we parted we said to each other ,Some day we again will meet.Thanks Jake for being my friend all those years and school mate.Vic Herman-Covina ,Ca”
